  • Super Junior Is Back With Some Action Pack!

While obsessing over DBSK, my 13 boys (13th being Henry, not Kibum) recently performed in Japan and I haven't seen such a spectacular show from them in a long while! They're back with a stronger group presence, powerful dance moves and better acting skills (all those frowns and smirks).

Half the time I couldn't keep my mouth close.

There's just endless screaming from the fans.  XD

    Couple of highlights:

    Siwon ah~~~

  • Story of Insang

Candice: Hey hey! Guess what's ginseng called in Korean?

    Lahiri: Uh.. umm.. kimseng?

Candice: LOL. Kim Seng!? Your neighbour huh

    Lahiri: ...

  • A Raw Hope to Potential Cure to AIDS

Yes... A vaccine still under experiment has been discovered to cure AIDS. This is big news! Millions of people can rejoice to the fact that they don't have to die.

But I'm having mixed feelings over this piece of news. Looking into the future when the vaccine is signed and sealed to cure - while millions of innocent people get a second chance to live, do you think millions of virus spreaders deserve that second chance too? Seems to me the cure may just encourage promiscuity and unprotected sex to carry on. There'll probably be a decline in sob stories like "i wish i treasured my life more. boohoohoo".

    'Tis a double-edge sword. Hmm.

  • Just watched Religulous. What a mind-blower!

For those who haven't heard of this film, it's a documentary that questions and satirizes religion. Bill Maher is a fearless genius (just like Sasha Baron Cohen, but much saner). He says what he wants to say and is never afraid to ask and provoke. His views had made me re-assure the reason why I didn't want to get into a religion. And the reason is simple... It's because there are too many questions left unanswered of the higher powers.

For those who are already in a religion, you may feel uncomfortable watching it. Or you can choose to watch it with an open-mind, then reflect about why you believe in whatever you believe and see if you can make any thorough sense out of it.

  • I found this group dating ad on facebook really hilarious! Because they used Siwon's photo. ROFL. IF ONLY you can really meet someone like Siwon! I'd be drooling all over the table and asking him to marry me. The dating agency would have been striking a windfall if beautiful men like him come signing up with them.

  • I think i've lost the zest for living. Something seems to be missing. I can't seem to smile. The whole world annoys me.

Maybe it's just one of those days..................

  • What "life" is there?

When people claim of having a "life". I find it really over-rated. What makes them think their "lives" are better than others? What makes them think that the "life" that they enjoy is right? So whenever you are unagreeable with someone doing something, you'd say "get a life". It's soo easy to say it!

I can look at someone having a stable daily routine of a 9 to 5 job, go home to have dinner, shower, watch tv, read off to sleep and I can say "get a life". Or I can look at another person partying hard 4-5 times a week with no care of consequences if the savings would run out by the time he/she hits 40 and probably burdened by debts with no serious career, and I can still say "get a life". As you can see, there is a very fine line between doing something that's deem sensible and something that's deem insensible.

I think we should just stop using this phrase altogether cos it doesn't make sense.

  • Knock knock. I'm back...

Just 2 days back, I returned from a short trip to Tioman. I wouldn't come back if I could! The place is just awesome. Shall post some pics when they are available.

Father's Day is just over. I bought a bottle of Sheridan's Coffee Liqour which is duty-free for dad. Turned out I went through a little bit of drama at the customs office for not declaring my goods. =p Dad better treasure that bottle. Haha.

My long weekend's finally come to an end. It's back to the grind!
